EXPANSION JOINTS

  • AXIAL EXPANSION JOINTS

  • Axial expansion joints for the absorption of axial movements, i.e. movements along the expansion joint.
  • Axial movement absorption of up to approx. 200 mm possible.
  • Low absorption of lateral and angular movements possible.
  • Unanchored: movement on all sides possible. High axial forces in conjunction with high pressure.

  • b. UNIVERSAL EXPANSION JOINTS

Universal expansion joints comprise two metal bellows interconnected by a central tube.
  • Absorption of axial, lateral and angular movements possible.
  • Unanchored: movement on all sides possible. High axial forces in conjunction with high pressure

  • c. LATERAL EXPANSION JOINTS

Lateral expansion joints are suitable for the absorption of lateral movements, i.e. transversely to the pipe axis of the expansion joint.
  • Absorption of lateral movement.
  • One-way flexibility with single pivot bolt bracing.
  • Universal flexibility with cardan joint bracing.
  • Bracing for absorbing the axial compressive forces (no axial movement possible).

  • d. ANGULAR EXPANSION JOINTS

Angular expansion joints absorb movements in the form of angular movements.
  • Absorption of angular movement.
  • One-way flexibility with single pivot bolt bracing.
  • Mobility in all directions with tie rod bracing or cardan joint bracing
  • Bracing for absorbing the axial compressive forces (no axial movement possible).

  • e. HVAC EXPANSION JOINTS

Standard designs of axial expansion joints for steel, stainless steel and copper pipes in building utilities. The optimal product range for all applications in water and heating circuits and gas installation.
  • Nominal diameters ranging from DN 15 to DN 250
  • Provided with screw connections, threaded sockets, threaded nipples, flanges or welding ends

  • METAL BELLOWS

  • CORRUGATED BELLOWS

  • Corrugated bellows are pressure-tight as well as highly flexible.

Typical fields of application are machinery and plant engineering, the valve gear industry, measurement and control technology, vacuum technology, solar applications and the semiconductor industry.

    b. DIAPHRAGM BELLOWS

Diaphragm bellows offer the highest level of elasticity with low space requirements.

Typical applications are vacuum valves, vacuum ducts, media storage, volume compensation elements, floating ring seals as well as measuring and control units.
